Message From Mrs Dance
Dear Parents and Carers,
What a beautiful sunny week we have had!
This week, my newsletter is full of celebration!
Zach in Year 6, attended the National Championship Competition last weekend and won 2 Golds in his Jiu-jitsu matches, 1 in Gi and 1 in
No Gi. He worked so hard in the lead up to this competition and his hard work really paid off.
Zach’s Jiu-jitsu Club in Farnborough also won the championships overall for the number of medals won in Gi and no Gi.
What a fantastic achievement Zach- well done!
On Friday last week, we held our annual visit from the Local Authority. Our LLP spent the day, talking with the Senior Leadership Team, staff, children and Governors. She and I also spent the morning going into classes and observing the learning and school environment. Our LLP was very complimentary of the learning, class room and wider school environment, as well as the behaviour of the children both in and out of class. The day was a huge success; highlighting all of the positive changes and developments that have taken place this past year which have had such positive outcomes for the children both academically and pastorally.
Finally, I would like to extend a huge thank you to you all for the effort that was made for our World Book day event yesterday. I loved engaging with the children and staff with their amazing costumes! I challenged the children to see if they could find me throughout the day (I was Where’s Wally) their powers of observation are amazing, there was no place that they didn’t find me. My day echoed with the phrase- "I’ve found you Mrs Dance!"
Wishing you all a lovely weekend.
