Message From Mrs Dance
Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope that this newsletter finds you all well.
Last week I shared that year 5 went to plant trees. I was delighted to receive some feedback from a volunteer who supported the event. They were full of praise for the school. They shared that they were really impressed with how good the children were and, in particular, highlighted and praised how well-mannered they were with so many "please" and "thank you's". They also complimented the children on how well they listened and responded to the staff. It is wonderful to receive such positive feedback from a member of the community. Well done and thank you Year 5!
Thank you for all of your feedback following Wednesday’s parents' evening. It is important that we gather your views and opinions so that we can continue to strive for excellence in all that we do. It was particularly pleasing to read so many positive comments about the staff.
It has been another week where I have had the privilege of joining classes across the school to observe their writing and maths learning journeys. What has particularly struck me is the high levels of engagement that the children exemplify in their learning.
The school choir is now out and about at various Christmas events. Thank you to Mrs Weymouth and the choir for taking part and spreading the joy of Christmas to our local community.
Wishing you all a lovely weekend.
Mrs. Dance
