Story Time at Vigo Primary School With...

Pupil Librarians
Each academic year, children in Year 6 can apply for the role of Junior Librarian. In September, a role profile and application form will be sent home with all children in Year 6, they can then complete and submit their application to Mrs Baker for shortlisting. Two children from each class will be selected to represent the school library in their new role.
This is an exciting opportunity for children to train as Junior Librarians and support their peers who use the library at lunch times, taking part in events and library-focussed errands. The Junior Librarians will have access to the new and exciting reads in the library and will benefit from an increased book borrowing allowance.
