Year 4
Welcome to Year 4
Year 4 is led by Miss Taylor (Nepal Class Teachers) alongside the Year 4 team. The Year 4 team includes Mr Cooper (Georgia Class Teacher) and Mrs Eggington and Miss Wells (Japan Class Teacher). The staff team enjoy making learning fun and finding opportunities to for pupils and adults alike to showcase their best wherever possible. The staff team are supported by many dedicated Learning Support Assistants.
Year 4 Curriculum
The Year 4 curriculum is concept driven and provides opportunities for all children to acquire the knowledge they need to build on their Year 3 experiences.
Forest School:
During the year, each class will have the opportunity to explore our Forest School curriculum with Mr Hodgeson. This is based on a half-termly rotation. You can find out when your child's class will be partaking in their sessions below:
Autumn 1 - Georgia
Autumn 2 - Japan
Spring 1 - Nepal
Spring 2 - Georgia
Summer 1 - Japan
Summer 2 - Nepal
PE and Sports:
Throughout the year your child will be taught PE by both their class teacher and our highly skilled and experienced Sports Coach Mr Holmes. They will complete their PE with Mr Holmes during the half terms they do not partake in Forest school.
Art:
Throughout the year your child will be taught Art by both their class teacher and our professional and extremely creative Artist Teacher Mrs Marta. They will complete their Art with Mrs Marta during the half terms they do not partake in Forest School.

Wednesday - Forest school (long sleeve tops, full-length bottoms and suitable footwear – trainers or wellington boots) or PE Sports Coach and Art. (School PE kit to be worn all day).
Thursday
Friday - Class PE (school PE kit to be worn all day)
